Don't Quit

Feeling stressed can take a toll on our body. Sometimes we need to just get away from it all.



My family and I just got back from a 4 day trip. It was a great bonding trip and a stress reliever. I came home feeling ready to get back to being mom and more able to better help others find peace. I had a friend text me a message that said I quit! Sorry. I wrote her back knowing it was about her weight loss. She has been unsuccessful at loosing weight. She weighs her self sometimes up to 4 times a day. I told her to get rid of the scale. Than I remembered a poem that has helped me through the years.


It's called

Don't Quit!!

When things go wrong,as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit...

Success is failure turned inside out.

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far,

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit.
